Following the success of Ears from Harvested Sheaves, the daughters of J.C. Philpot (1802-1869), produced Through Baca's Vale which is a further volume of extracts from their father's sermons and writings. Although the readings are very spiritual, they are also practical and include vital aspects of the Christian's pathway. Both editions have been made encouraging and helpful to many. This book was first published in 1893 and has been reprinted several times.
