The Poor Doubting Christian Drawn to Christ - Thomas Hooker (1586-1647)

Thomas Hooker was one of the early puritan settlers and pastors in New England. He wrote for 'those children of God whose hearts are cast down', and deal with the hindrances which prevent them coming to Christ. Not only the private Christian, but the minister, will find this little work worthy of frequent perusal. No apology is offered for leaving the author to speak in the style of his time, antiquated though it be, but there is a spirit and power in it for reaching the conscience and moving the heart.
