John Vinall, was 45 years pastor of Jireh chapel Lewes and Providence chapel Brighton. This volume contains short, rich, and full extracts from notes of sermons heard by E R Spence on his visits to Brighton.  This servant of the Lord preached, with power and unction, and the hearer was led to record these now published notes from up to 100 different texts into two volumes, with the desire to dedicate the books to the Household of Faith, that the Lord may bless it to their souls.
