Free Bible

For a free copy of an AKJV (Authorised King James Version) Bible, please send your request to us including your delivery address, via the form below.

Terms and conditions:

  • Australian addresses only

  • We will not send a free Bible to 3rd party addresses; by providing us with an address you are acknowledging that this is your residential address and that the Bible is first intended for you. You are free to pass it on once you receive it, but we will not send the Bible to someone else's address on your behalf

  • Your details will not be used for any purpose other than administering requests and for sending a free copy of the Bible to you

  • Your full name is required for postage (which is also free)

  • One free Bible per household: we are sorry but we cannot supply multiple copies

  • Please allow up to 28 days for delivery

  1. The Australian Strict Baptist Churches are committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. A copy of the APPs may be obtained from the website of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
     

  2. What is Personal Information and what do we collect?
    Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. The type of Personal Information we collect include names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.
     

  3. How do we collect and hold your Personal Information?
    Your Personal Information is obtained via our website www.australianstrictbaptists.au. Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
     

  4. Why do we collect it?
    We collect your Personal Information for the sole purpose of providing a free Bible to you. This data will only be used to administer your request for a free Bible and for no other purpose.
     

  5. Who do we share it with?
    We are sometimes required to share the name and address of the recipient with the Trinitarian Bible Society Australian branch (TBS Australia), who occasionally process and dispatch our orders of free Bibles and whose Privacy Policy can be viewed on their website. By emailing us with your request you consent to us storing and processing your personal data, and to it being shared with TBS Australia for the purpose of dispatching your free Bible. We will not share information about you with third parties without your consent unless the law requires us to. If you do not wish us to store and process your data and share it with TBS Australia, please contact us by return email to advise us. We will then delete your request and your personal data, and we will not be able to send you a free Bible.
     

  6. How can you access your Personal Information?
    You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us by email via our website. In order to protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
     

  7. How can you complain about a suspected breach of privacy laws?
    If you have any queries or complaints about our Privacy Statement or breach of privacy law, please contact us by email via our website.
     

  8. Do we disclose your Personal Information to overseas recipients?
    We do not disclose your Personal Information to overseas recipients. If for whatever reason, we are directed by TBS Australia to provide your Personal Information to the TBS English branch we will ask for your consent by email.
